Card Model Building Kits
Town & Country
All my card model building kits are based on real prototypes, I find that the resulting
building looks more realistic than one from a fictional design.
The textures wrap around the corners of the model building so that there is no card
edge visible. Furthermore, the brick or stone pattern is correctly laid out so that
where you see a stretcher (long) face on one elevation at a corner, the header (short)
face of the same brick is seen on the other elevation and there are no vertical mortar
joints on the corner.
The textures also wrap around the window and door reveals and are detailed in the
same manner as the corners. This all adds to the realism of the finished model building
The model buildings feature optional foundations to allow them to be buried in the
landscape like a real building rather than sat on the top which results in an unsightly
gap at the bottom of the walls. If required, this can be reduced in height when cutting
out anywhere down to just below floor level.
Other options include different ways of modelling the windows to suit your needs,
more about this and further information is given in the instructions section.
So, go ahead and download a kit FREE, print it out according to the instructions
on each sheet of the kit and assemble it according to your needs
Please feel free to pass the kits on to your friends and tell them about Scenerybuilder.com
so that they too can build realistic card model buildings at minimal cost for their
model railway or other layout or diorama.
